Derivative Concepts, Inc.
Matt Reynolds is owner and president of Derivative Concepts, Inc. and President of COSMIC Speculator, Inc. His firm specializes in the development of derivative trading systems.
Matt’s approach to trading can best be explained as a unique variation to Auction Market Theory (AMT). Based on his years of studying the market, he has developed his own innovative twist to Market Profile concepts. This is focused around truly unique trading tools which identify critical Support/Resistance levels for the 25 markets he trades. These levels are then used to construct Trading Zones which provide the structure for Matt’s trading method, referred to as ZoneTraderTM. These Zones then provide guidelines for the trader in understanding where the market is and what the market is trying to go throughout the intraday. It is a very powerful combination of tools, techniques and method that provide the basis for each trade set up and execution decision.
Matt Reynolds is one of those rare gifted traders willing to share what he knows! In fact, he is The COSMIC Speculator. Matt offers a weekly service to share his trading analysis, along with day to day alerts, if such analysis should need to be modified. The details of this record may be viewed on www.cosmicspeculator.com.
As The COSMIC Speculator, Matt also leads a daily room under www.futurestalk.net. This live trade radio chat room provides traders access to daily insights of the COSMIC Speculator trading futures. Within this chat room Matt shares minute by minute futures trading insights.
Matt’s competitive spirit as a trader grew out of his athletic career track that was originally focused toward professional baseball. For all you baseball fans, he was a Division 1 catcher for the University of Cincinnati until he suffered a major knee injury. His focus then moved toward professional trading. Since entering the trading profession, Matt has published several trading articles in Futures Magazine, including:
-
Intraday Breakout Trading Off Of the Herrick Payoff Index, October 2005
- Opportunities Found, ForeX Trading Strategy, November 2006
- Pinpointing Entries across Time Frames, Applying Multiple Time Frame Analysis and Combining Specific Indicator Sets. February 2008.
Prior to establishing his own firm, Matt spent several years as Derivatives Broker, supporting several large firms on the West Coast. His role included full service department management, trading and technical analysis support to high net work customers.
Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Kentucky University (Special research projects for Business Policy and Community Bank Management). He also gained an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
