Hit the Market Trading
Martin Rimes is a full time trader for over seven years and moderated a trading internet site for four years calling trades on Fridays for the following week. In addition, he also presents at live trading events including seminars in Orlando and Las Vegas.
Three years ago, he devoted his time to publish Hit the Mark Trading, a newsletter with twice weekly updates designed to teach people how to trade simply. The newsletter focuses on educating the reader to develop into their own trading “expert.”
By calling trades in advance each week, Martin’s students are able to shadow his trades watching them unfold consistently. His approach incorporates technical analysis with an eye on fundamentals. Primarily, momentum and trend is taught for short term trading with focus on risk control. Contracts or ETFs are used on futures, while very simple option strategies are explained and used on stock trades. “The idea is to keep things simple and consistent,” Martin explains, “to avoid overwhelming or intimidating the trader.”
Long term trading ideas for stocks and futures are part of his The Long Term Trading Report which originated in June 2010. Published once a month, the idea is to identify stock, commodity, or financial futures trends for longer term swing trading with minimal trader involvement. These are trading ideas based both on fundamental analysis and longer term price charts.
