As this market appears to be pulling back to the monthly averages, we still do not think short trades are the way to go.

Russell Market Weaker Than Other Indexes

An interesting trade setup came up this morning when we were looking at the stock indexes. We like to call this the 1 vs. 3 and it today's market, the Russell 2000 was the one. It started off the day looking a lot weaker than the other indices and we spotted an opportunity based off of that weakness.

Looking at the daily chart, we can see that resistance continues to be found around the 1200 level, but overall, we are still Bullish the Russell and are just looking for a close above this level.

Daily CME Market Study

With yesterday being Fed day, we saw a lot of movement in many of the markets. Looking at the currencies, we can see that the dollar strengthened, pushing most currencies lower. A number of these currencies closed below bearish levels on the charts so we should be watching these markets to see if continuation to the downside is in the cards.
