Has the current economic and political climate made you think about including gold as a diversifier in your current futures portfolio? Here is your opportunity to learn about a liquid mini gold futures contract traded on a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext.

Topics covered will include:

  • The advantages of trading mini gold on NYSE Liffe US – the most liquid US mini gold contract
  • 2 reasons why precious metals ETF traders could benefit from also using our futures.  One reason is a unique Futures - ETF rebate program.
  • Accessing precious metals research by the John Lothian team in Chicago; the Bullion Weekly which comes from London; and GFMS research
  • Contract specifications (as compared to the 100 ounce contract)
  • Historical Prices, volume, and open interest

Jennifer Ropiak has twenty years of experience trading precious and platinum group metals at Morgan Stanley, AIG and Dresdner Bank.  Since November 2008, Jennifer has worked at NYSE Liffe U.S, NYSE Euronext’s new U.S. futures exchange, where she manages business and product development for the gold and silver mini and full size contracts. This year, Jennifer has made presentations to the London Bullion Market Association and the International Precious Metals Association.
